SDC survey, install, commission and service all manner of electronic surveillance equipment including CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms and intercom systems typically within 50 miles of Birmingham unless a client has multiple buildings, in which case they go further afield.
REMAS do the same as SDC but on a European scale having sites all over the UK from Stornoway to the Channel Islands and from Northern Ireland to Portugal, Spain and Germany. REMAS, by its very name "remote" tends to install far more remotely monitored CCTV systems giving its clients eyes on all their sites without having to leave their desks. REMAS also installs and services gates, barriers, fencing, Radar Detection and deployable CCTV systems.
RGM was setup due to The Bloomfield Group's frustration with "run of the mill" monitoring centre's inability to deal with anything deemed "outside the box". RGM is a BS8418 monitoring facility hidden in the heart of England offering unparalleled levels of service and care to all its customers. RGM is re-writing the way remote monitoring should be done.
RDS was again setup by the Bloomfield Group due to it's frustrations but this time with supposedly "off the shelf" deployable CCTV systems. Sadly the reality of such systems were that they are not off the shelf and are not particularly deployable. The Bloomfield Group used expertise from all its member Companies to create the Network Accessible Surveillance system (NAS). Truly wireless other than power, truly deployable, truly feature rich and truly amazing value for money. RDS is now working on project "Baby NAS" so watch this space and we will blog about it in due course.

REMAS Global Monitoring (RGM) provides outside the box thinking with regard to remote monitoring of CCTV and alarm systems. RGM protects all manner of businesses, their assets and their staff by monitoring images from CCTV cameras installed anywhere in the UK, responding to alarm activations and liaising with the Police or private response services to provide security, remotely, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The monitoring industry has been built around the concept that a protected premises closes at 18:00 and opens the following morning at 07:00 and therefore any activity within these times is an intruder. Reality, however, is generally somewhat different and this is where RGM come in to their own.
RGM was born out of a need to provide monitoring to a broad spectrum of clients who had remote sites that required not only night time coverage, but in some cases 24 hours a day coverage. We originally tried to outsource this to the usual suspects in the industry but one way or another we were let down as they simply were unable to operate outside the norm.
RGM is able to operate to the customer's unique demands for their site. If a site is normally unmanned but on a Tuesday there is a delivery, this information will form part of the unique site instructions document which will "pop" up on a screen adjacent to the video screen when a site transmits to RGM. The Operator simply follows the customer's instructions.
RGM also manage the inevitable false alarms and gives detailed reports to the the customer to ensure they are prevented in the future. If a camera becomes troublesome, or exceeds a certain amount of false alarms in a certain time period, the camera will be isolated and the customer informed. It is in the best interests of ALL RGM customer that the Operators are not fully occupied with false alarms as this would risk a genuine alarm escalation being delayed.
RGM works to strict codes of practice such as BS5979 and BS8418 and also enjoys the service industry's highest accolade, Achieving Competitive Excellence Gold (ACE) accreditation. Having a very broad spectrum of clients provides RGM with a huge experience base to call upon which is often extremely useful when unusual things happen.
